Find the Best Industrial Adhesive in the Market for Construction Purposes

Construction adhesives are many and varied. Some offer excellent bonding properties but are incredibly dated in their technology. This leads to high-maintenance and the constant need for repair of fixer-upper constructions. Fortunately, new adhesive formulations have now been developed, filling what traditional industrial adhesives lack in terms of performance and quality. Hybrid polymer construction adhesives require no mixing, which means they can be applied onto surfaces that need bonding, directly from the tube/container.

Conventional construction adhesives that are one-component mastic types may bond well for a time, but they do have disadvantages because of their dated technology. For instance, surfaces have to be completely dry to ensure optimum bonding, which can be a real disadvantage when fixing construction damages in exceptionally rainy regions. These types of adhesives have a poor grab, particularly in vertical applications, which means they require support for at least 24 hours for the bond to take. They also lack flexibility, which makes them harder to use in external applications where they are exposed to the elements and where there is considerable expansion and contraction between materials.

Two-part adhesives are also quite common but like mastic type adhesives, they too, have many disadvantages. Perhaps the greatest disadvantage of this kind of industrial adhesive is preparation and mixing, which opens up great room for user mistake, especially when components are not mixed correctly. Two-part adhesives also have very slow cure time and little initial grab, unlike newer hybrid polymers that require no mixing and can be applied directly to surfaces with no support required.

Unlike typical construction adhesives, hybrid polymer adhesives don't require fixing bolts to affix vertical substrates, thanks to their powerful initial grab. This prevents even heavy slabs of material from sliding and slipping even without the support of bolts or clamps. This type of adhesive is so strong that even a sledge hammer will not break the bond it forms between the base and substrate.
